big five & co
“If there were one more thing I could do, it would be to go on safari once again.”
Karen Blixen
The “Big Five” was an old hunting term. It was used by big game hunters and it stood for animals whose hunting was particularly difficult and dangerous. These included lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos. Today, this term is used more on safaris. Every guest wants to see the “Big Five”. However, the beauty and uniqueness of the other wild species should not be overlooked.
